You asked and we listened! Our next “The Art of You asked and we listened! Our next “The Art of Pickling with Chef Lex” class is happening Sunday, May 3rd 🥒 And tickets are live NOW at the link in bio!

💚 This interactive class will explore the history and science of pickling, especially as it relates to the American South, while @chef.alexandre.falardeau guides the group through building their own custom jars of pickles.

🫙 Guests will choose from a spread of classic pickling vegetables, along with seasonal and local options, plus a variety of spices and seasonings to build unique flavor profiles. Each jar will be finished with one of our house made brines, and a recipe card will be provided so you can recreate your batch again and again at home.

🥦 Cauliflower from @harmonyridgefarms — currently on the menu, paired with oyster mushrooms from @urbangourmetfarms 
🥔 Celery root from @harmonyridgefarms — turned into a purée and served with scallops
🍐 Pears from @harmonyridgefarms — pickled with beets and added to our scallop dish with celery root
🌿 Snap Peas — showing up soon in a spring lunch salad
🍉 Scarlet Turnips from @harmonyridgefarms — featured in a special with thyme, garlic, and lemon peel
